Moving toward Sustainability and Safe Environment, ARGAS established in 2024 a multidisciplinary consultancy in the water and environment fields. This is built on the long Expertise that ARGAS has on the subsurface exploration and complement ARGAS Services with Hydrogeological and hydrological services, environmental, modeling with the aim to serve government and mining agencies across the area of operation.
To serve better its clients, ARGAS has recruited experts in the water and environmental field and has also signed agreements and MOUs with universities and research centers to complement the team and cover all water and environmental scopes. Nowadays, ARGAS’s expertise in hydrogeology covers all the areas of hydrogeological work, all within the general context of water resources management and planning, and contamination risk management.
As a result of the company dedication to serve better its client, backed up with solid technical solutions, ARGAS has become a key player in the water business in Saudi Arabia and has succeeded to win its first large scale project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which includes the following scope:
- Detailed geological, hydrological and hydrogeological assessments
- Topographic surveys, generation of digital elevation models (DEM) and digital Terrain Models (DTM)
- Subsurface investigations including surface geophysics and shallow geotechnical drilling and deep-water drilling
- Surface and groundwater modeling
- Flood control and implementation of control measures
- Water rise issues investigation and remediation
- Water Quality investigation and remediation
- Data management and water monitoring systems
As a multidisciplinary consultancy, ARGAS does not view hydrogeology as a stand-alone subject. Instead, it incorporates its expertise into advising on catchment wide issues, such as abstraction, water stress, environmental issues, water balances and drainage solutions. In addition, ARGAS provides data capture, management and processing services, including database development with linked GIS and database operation and management.
Moreover, ARGAS recognizes the importance of operational issues that the clients are facing and works side by side along with its teams to understand the issues, build the scope and provide the right solution and implementation.
